About Quest24 and These Terms

Quest24 is a digital platform that operates the website quest24.app and related digital services (together, the "Services").

Quest24 provides self-guided, story-driven quests that take place in the real world and are played through a mobile browser without the need to download an app. During a Quest, participants move between locations in public spaces, solve riddles and challenges, and progress through a story.

These Terms govern access to the Services, the purchase of a Quest, and participation in it. By using the website, completing a purchase, or participating in a Quest, you agree to these Terms.

A lawful tax invoice/receipt will be issued after payment.

1. Eligibility and Minors

Purchases and account management must be carried out by a person legally capable of entering into the relevant transaction.

Participants under the age of 18 may participate only with the permission, accompaniment, and supervision of a responsible adult aged 18 or over.

Before starting a Quest, every participant must accept the applicable Safety and Participation Waiver. Participation by a minor is also subject to the approval and accompaniment of a responsible adult.

2. Accounts and Registration

Certain features of the Services may require registration or creation of an account.

You must provide accurate and current information and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account and should notify us promptly if you become aware of unauthorized use.

We may restrict or suspend an account where we reasonably suspect unlawful, fraudulent, dangerous, or otherwise prohibited use.

3. Purchases and Payment

The price of a Quest will be displayed before completion of the purchase. The total price payable will be displayed in accordance with applicable law.

Payments may be processed through a third-party payment provider. By completing a purchase, you authorize the charge to your selected payment method.

A lawful tax invoice/receipt will be issued after payment.

Prices may change from time to time, but a price change will not affect a purchase that has already been completed.

We may cancel or refuse a transaction where there is a reasonable suspicion of fraud, unauthorized use, a technical malfunction, or a pricing error. If a completed transaction that was actually charged is cancelled by us without a breach by the customer, the amount charged will be refunded as appropriate under the circumstances and applicable law.

4. Purchase Validity and Game Access

A purchased Quest is valid for 60 days from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated on the relevant Quest page or at checkout.

The Quest must be started within the validity period. Once the Quest is started, access to the game will remain available for 24 hours from the start time.

After the validity period or the 24-hour access period expires, access may be closed and there is no automatic entitlement to an extension, credit, or refund.

5. Group Use and Quest Access

Each Quest has a maximum number of participants, which is shown on the relevant Quest page.

Participants may play as one group or, where supported by the relevant Quest, split into up to four teams and compete on the same route.

Game codes, joining links, and other access credentials are intended only for the participants of the group that purchased the Quest. They may not be sold, publicly shared, or distributed to provide unauthorized access to others.

6. Cancellations, Refunds, and Support

Cancellation and refund rights are subject to applicable law, and nothing in these Terms limits any right that cannot lawfully be waived or restricted. Beyond any mandatory rights provided by law, purchases of Quests do not create an automatic entitlement to cancellation or a refund.

For any issue relating to a purchase, Quest activation, or technical malfunction, contact us at support@quest24.app. We will review the request and try to provide an appropriate support solution. Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, this may include technical assistance, restored access, replacement access, credit, or a refund.

Changes in public spaces, weather conditions, closure of a business, changes to signs or landmarks, blocked access, or other circumstances outside Quest24's control do not by themselves create an automatic right to a refund.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights in the Services and Quest24 content, including the platform, software, design, stories, riddles, clues, solutions, photographs, illustrations, graphics, maps, text, video, trademarks, and logo, belong to Quest24 or are lawfully used by Quest24.

Subject to compliance with these Terms, users receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-commercial right to use the Services and participate in a purchased Quest.

You may not copy, distribute, publish, sell, transfer, reverse engineer, scrape data from the system, or commercially exploit Quest24 content without prior permission.

8. Solutions, Spoilers, and Access Codes

To protect the experience of future participants, you may not publicly publish or distribute solutions, access codes, hidden information, or content that materially reveals answers or clues from a Quest.

You may share general experiences, photographs, and impressions provided that doing so does not materially reveal game solutions or provide unauthorized access.

9. Safety and Real-World Participation

Quests take place in real and changing environments. Streets, buildings, businesses, signs, construction, crowds, traffic, and access conditions may change without notice and are not controlled by Quest24.

Participants are responsible for exercising reasonable care and judgment throughout the activity.

During a Quest, participants must comply with the law and traffic rules, stop in a safe place before using a phone, not use a phone while driving, cycling, or crossing a road, not enter private, fenced, closed, restricted, dangerous, or paid areas unless access is lawful and expressly permitted, and not climb, move objects, open gates, damage property, or interfere with businesses, residents, or members of the public.

No riddle or challenge requires a participant to break the law, take unreasonable risks, or enter an unsafe location. If there is any doubt, safety comes before completing the game.

10. Safety and Participation Waiver

Before starting a Quest, every participant must accept the applicable Safety and Participation Waiver.

The waiver forms part of the conditions of participation and contains additional provisions relating to the nature of the activity, personal responsibility, changing real-world conditions, and safety.

Nothing in these Terms or in the waiver excludes or limits any liability or right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

11. Changes in the Real World and to Quests

Quest24 makes reasonable efforts to maintain and update its Quests. However, because they take place in real-world environments, landmarks, businesses, signs, buildings, visual details, and access routes may change, disappear, become blocked, or differ from their condition when the Quest was created.

We may update, modify, replace, or temporarily suspend a Quest where reasonably necessary due to safety concerns, real-world changes, maintenance, technical issues, or operational needs.

Where reasonably possible, we will try to provide users with a valid unused purchase access to an updated version or an alternative solution.

12. Service Availability and Technical Requirements

We aim to keep the Services available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation at all times.

The Services may be affected by maintenance, internet connectivity, device compatibility, third-party services, or other technical circumstances.

You are responsible for using a compatible internet-connected device and for maintaining sufficient battery power and internet access throughout the game.

13. Selfies, User Content, and Feedback

During a Quest, a group may be able to upload a selfie or other photographs as part of the experience.

A selfie uploaded during the Quest is stored in the system and displayed only to the group that uploaded it as part of the Quest summary. It is not displayed to other groups and is not used for advertising or marketing without separate consent where such consent is required by law.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to upload any content you submit and that the upload does not infringe the rights of others.

Feedback, ideas, and suggestions voluntarily provided to us may be used to improve and develop the Services without an obligation to provide compensation.

14. Reviews and Ratings

Where the Services allow reviews or ratings, they should reflect genuine experience and must not contain unlawful, threatening, discriminatory, defamatory, or knowingly false content.

By submitting a review, you allow Quest24 to display and reproduce it in connection with the Services and their promotion, subject to applicable law and the Privacy Policy.

We may remove a review that violates these Terms or applicable law.

15. Third-Party Services and Links

The Services may rely on or link to third-party services, including payment providers, mapping services, communication services, and external websites.

Quest24 does not control those services and is not responsible for their independent content, availability, privacy practices, or terms.

Your use of a third-party service may be subject to that provider's own terms and policies.

16. Privacy

Use of the Services is also subject to the Quest24 Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

17. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Services for unlawful activity, fraud, impersonation, harm to others, unauthorized access to accounts or content, circumvention of security features, interference with the operation of the Services, introduction of malicious code, unauthorized collection of information, unauthorized commercial resale or distribution of Quest access, damage to property, or unlawful entry into private or restricted property.

We may restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe that a material breach of these Terms or applicable law has occurred.

18. Suspension and Termination of Access

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services in the event of a material breach of these Terms, unlawful or fraudulent use, harm to the security of the Services, or creation of a material risk to Quest24 or other users.

Where reasonable and appropriate in the circumstances, we will try to provide notice before taking such action.

19. Nature of the Service and Responsibility

Quest24 provides a self-guided digital entertainment activity that takes place in real-world environments.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the Services and Quest content work as intended, but we cannot guarantee that every landmark, sign, business, access route, or real-world condition will remain unchanged at all times.

Quest24 does not control traffic, weather, construction, crowds, public infrastructure, third parties, or other changing conditions in public spaces.

Participants remain responsible for their own conduct, decisions, and compliance with safety instructions and applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Quest24 will not be liable for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable as a result of the relevant breach or event.

Quest24 will not be responsible for loss or damage caused solely by circumstances outside its reasonable control, including the independent conduct of third parties or changes in public-space conditions, subject to any liability that applies under law.

Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

21. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Quest24 against reasonable losses, liabilities, and third-party claims arising directly from your intentional or unlawful conduct, a material breach of these Terms, unauthorized entry by you into private or restricted property, damage caused by you to property, infringement of a third party's rights through content you uploaded, or unauthorized commercial use of Quest24 content.

This section does not require you to indemnify Quest24 for conduct or omissions of Quest24 where such liability cannot lawfully be transferred to you.

22. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and the use of the Services are governed by the laws of the State of Israel.

Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Israel, subject to any mandatory provisions of law relating to jurisdiction or consumer rights.

Before commencing formal legal proceedings, the parties are encouraged to attempt to resolve the matter directly and in good faith.

23. Electronic Communications and Acceptance

Notices, confirmations, documents, and communications relating to the Services may be provided electronically, including through the website or by email.

Where active acceptance of a term, document, or waiver is required, the electronic acceptance may be recorded for the purpose of documenting consent.

24. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Services, our operations, or applicable legal requirements.

The updated version will be published on the website together with the date of the latest update. Material changes will apply prospectively unless applicable law requires otherwise.

25. General Provisions

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the applicable Safety and Participation Waiver, govern the use of the Services and participation in Quests.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

A failure to enforce a provision in a particular case does not waive the right to enforce it later.

We may transfer rights and obligations relating to the Services as part of a restructuring or transfer of the activity, subject to applicable law.

We will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, subject to applicable law.
